Slim surround receiver A slim home theater receiver may be the perfect solution if you are short on shelf space for your home theater components.
While a slimline receiver may not offer as many audio/video inputs or as much amplifier power as comparably-priced regular-sized home theater receivers, we think that you will be surprised at just how much power and functionality can be packed into a slim design receiver. |
It still needs ventilation! Just because a slim home theater receiver is thinner and more compact than your average surround sound receiver does not mean that you don't need to provide adequate ventilation space around it to release all the excess heat that's generated during normal operation of your home theater surround sound system. When setting up and installing your home theater, be sure to allow enough room between your other system components and the furniture it's sitting in/on to let your home theater receiver "breathe"! |
