2 channel stereo receiver Don't care about surround sound when buying
your next home audio receiver? If all you want to do is connect a pair of stereo speakers, and maybe a subwoofer for
listening to your music, why pay for a bunch of home theater surround sound features that you'll never use?
The home audio receivers on this page each have plenty of amplifier power,
AM/FM radio tuners, and analog RCA audio inputs (including a phono input for connecting a turntable). What stereo receivers lack is all the
fancy video switching and digital surround sound decoding. Don't worry, you can still run your TV's stereo sound through
the stereo receiver and speakers -- you just won't be able to
listen to it in digital surround sound.
Want sound in more than one room? Consider the Denon DRA697CI Multi-Source/Multi-Zone AM/FM stereo receiver pictured to the right. |
